Email forwarding in cPanel is a function (rule) available for all mail clients, which allows you to redirect messages from one (or more) account(s) to another E-mail address. This address remains undisclosed to the sender.
You can also redirect all mail traffic sent towards a given domain name (@example.com) and catch it into one single Email address.
How to setup Email forwarding
Login to your cPanel account, go to the Email section and then click on Forwarders.
Click on Add Forwarder.
Next, type in the address you want to forward and the destination (e.g. the recipient address for all forwarded Emails). Especially relevant is that you do not need to include the “@” when writing the address for which you wish to add this rule.
After clicking on Add Forwarder, your Email address will be added to a list.
Now click on Go Back and you will see a list of all Email accounts which will be forwarded.
In conclusion, setting up Email forwarders is a easy way to manage multiple email addresses. Now that you know how to set up Email forwarders, you will save time, manpower and become more efficient. If you wish to test it out further, try out the Add a Domain forwarding option.
Until next time, take care!
